“It is more blessed to give than to receive” – Acts 20:35

Woodland Community SDA Church operates Circle of Friends, a thrift (resale) store in downtown Janesville to provide household products and clothes at very reasonable prices. If someone is in need of such items because of an emergency, many times items will be given to them free of charge. You can help in three ways; You can donate gently used items that you may have around your house so that we can either give them to people in need or sell them and use the money to help those who need a helping hand. The second way is to stop by the store (on the corner of Milwaukee and Jackson streets in downtown Janesville) occasionally and buy a few items that you may need. There is a constant turnover of merchandise and the prices are good! The third way that you can help is to volunteer some of your time in the store. All of the staff at Circle of Friends volunteer their time to make this ministry work. Get involved and help your neighbors in the community though this easy to do ministry! A couple hours of your time each week can make a big difference.
